Skills and market most critical for every MSMEs

The Director General of Small Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, SMEDAN, Umaru Dikko Radda, recently said that apart from money, skills are required to help get products and services to a wide range of consumers.

He disclosed this during a two-day training workshop on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs digital marketing and entrepreneurship skills organized by SMEDAN in partnership with A.K.G Global multi-services company.

Through his representative, Director of Policy, Advocacy and Coordination (PAC) department, Monday Ewans, Umaru said they will be launching an innovative platform very soon. This platform will enable entrepreneurs to deliver their products and services in a seamless and timely manner, especially made in Nigeria products in areas such as business directory, bulk SMS services, and online advertisement.

Basically, among other made in Nigeria products, the bulk SMS business is still one of the most critical skills to learn and it also provides a market for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to take advantage of. With the new platform in place, MSMEs will be able to access local, regional and global markets for the development of the sub-sector in Nigeria.
